Flashmob: #OccupyBucharest
Descriere
Pe 15 octombrie, oameni din toate colturile lumii vor iesi pe strazi. Din America pana in Asia, din Africa pana in Europa (http://map.15october.net/), isi vor cere drepturile in numele unei democratii adevarate. A sosit timpul sa ne unim cu totii printr-un protest pasnic global.
Uniti intr-o singura voce, le vom transmite politicienilor si elitei financiare care-i deservesc, ca noi, oamenii de rand, suntem singurii care ne putem decide viitorul. Nu suntem o marfa nici pentru politicieni, nici pentru bancheri!.
Pe 15 Octombrie ne vom intalni in Piata Unirii, pentru a initia schimbarea globala pe care o dorim cu totii. Vom demostra pasnic, vom vorbi despre care este solutia cea mai buna PENTRU NOI de a rezolva aceasta criza financiara si morala; si vom protesta pana cand vom reusi.

Let’s not repeat G20 at Occupy protest, says open letter to police

City police at this weekend’s Occupy Toronto protests should take steps to avoid a repeat of the mass arrests and kettling that occurred during last year’s G20 summit, a local blogger says.
Toronto activists say they will occupy a public space near the city’s financial district beginning Oct. 15 to protest the gap between the wealthiest 1 per cent of people and the rest of the world. The demonstration is one of hundreds planned in cities around the world and will mimic the Occupy Wall Street protest, which began three weeks ago.
In an open letter addressed to police chief Bill Blair and the Toronto police service, Justin Beach said the public will be watching police closely during next week’s Occupy protest and will hold them accountable for any actions that undermine protesters’ rights.
“Neither the people of Toronto, nor I’m sure, its police force want to see a repeat of the G20 weekend,” Mr. Beach wrote, adding “all officers should have their badges visible at all times,” in a reference to some of the G20 cases in which citizens launched complaints against officers who had covered their badge numbers and were therefore difficult or impossible to identify. Demonstraţii la New York, împotriva globalizării
Ieri la New York a avut loc o demonstratie la care au participat 5.000 de persoane care lupta contra globalizarii. In timpul evenimentului politistii au folosit forta desi miscarea era pasnica, in conditiile in care nici un tanar nu a facut decat sa ceara micsorarea taxelor.
Este pentru a 20-a oara consecutiv cand are loc o manifestatie de acest gen, primele debutand in luna iulie. Unele ziare scriu ca demonstratiile se pot extinde si in alte tari dupa modelul celor erupte in majoritatea oraselor din Statele Unite (ex: Los Angeles, Seattle, Sesame Street, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, Dallas, Austin, Portland etc), iar oficialitatile se tem de amploarea pe care ar putea-o lua aceste proteste, care au loc chiar si in Canada si Spania.
Unii jurnalisti care au fost prezenti la fata locului au relatat ca s-a folosit forta si asupra lor, desi acestia nu-si faceau decat datoria. Politistii au folosit spray cu piper impotriva acestora in drumul catre Wall Street.

Anonymous Alleges “Day of Vengeance” against the US on September 24

Hactivist collective Anonymous has been busy all year round messing with huge corporations, government sectors, the Texan police and even Hollywood celebrities. However, it seems like they’re not stopping the big talk anytime soon, as they announced another disturbing plan for a “Day of Vengeance” against the US on September 24. It says Anonymous and “other cyber liberation groups” will “peacefully yet forcefully” protest all over the United States.
They also released a horribly designed poster along with the press release. But let’s not make a big deal about the poster. What matters right now is the authenticity of the threat.
Anonymous contends that the “Day of Vengeance” will span across dozens of cities in the US at high noon on September 24. They also said that there will be a “series of cyberattacks against various targets including Wall Street, Corrupt Banking Institutions – and the NYC Police Department.” The collective suggested following Twitter @PDLF2012 for reports on the scheme’s progress. Wednesday – September 21, 2011On September 17, 2011 approximately 15,000 peaceful demonstrators
in dozens of cities around the USA gathered, marched – and occupied
public space to protest the unjust policies of the US government
and the corruption in our financial institutions. The central
protest site was in the financial district of New York City, where
peaceful protesters faced phalanxes of heavily armed paramilitary
police officers from local and federal jurisdictions. The arrests
began almost immediately, many for violating the 1845 so called
“mask” laws.Later that day, and according to plan – many of these protests
ended with a peaceful occupation of public space. Again, the
central occupation occurred in NYC. More arrests continued to take
place. All of this was expected, it is part of progressive
activism. Anonymous was content to challenge these stupid “mask”
laws in court. Not only is the Guy Fawlkes mask covered under
freedom expression as a symbol of our movement, but we believe that
everyone has a right to protest anonymously using bandanas, masks -
etc.But then on Tuesday – September 20, 2011 everything changed in a
flash of police instigated violence. As rain began to fall on the
NYC encampment, heavily armed police moved in; Removing tarps used
to cover media equipment, arresting independent journalists,
confiscating media equipment – and using excessive force against
and arresting innocent peaceful protesters, several of whom were
abused and injured.This year, we heard President Barack Obama and Secretary HillaryClinton say over and over in country after country from the Balkans
through the mid-east to Africa that the right to peacefully protest
and occupy public space is a right that MUST be respected in every
instance. And they are correct, and this also applies to the USA.
In fact, even more so. In the USA of all countries in the world,
the police should have been deployed to PROTECT the protesters -
not a giant brass bull that is the ultimate symbol of greed and
corruption in America. And yet we were treated to the grotesque
picture of dozens of armored police surrounding this brass bull,
while thousands more police were deployed solely to harass, arrest -
and abuse peaceful protesters.Anonymous & the other cyber liberation groups around the world
together with all the freedom loving people in the USA will NOT
stand for this. We will peacefully yet forcefully resist the abuses
of the NYC Police Department. And so Anonymous announces a
nationwide “Day Of Vengence” to take place in dozens of cities

FBI says Anonymous is a potential threat to national security
A document from the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit (BSU), allegedly leaked to the Web in August, moves Anonymous from a collective of individuals to a potential threat to national security. The psychological examination from the BSU was based on public communications and confidential informants. - AnonOps
