At the beginning of the month we told you about the iPhone 5 prototype that was lost in a bar, which copied the goings on last year with the iPhone 4. This led Apple to take on new staff in an attempt to stop this sort of incident being repeated. In a new twist we can tell you that the lost iPhone 5 prototype may be on video, as requests are made for CCTV from the bar in question.
The San Francisco Police Department has asked the owners of the Cava 22 bar where the prototype went missing, for permission to view surveillance footage from the night in question. Jose Valle whose family owns the bar as said officers asked to view footage from July 21st and 22nd.
