More rumours have emerged concerning the release date of Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, the next version of Google’s mobile operating system.
A couple of weeks back, we heard from Eric Schmidt that Ice Cream Sandwich had a target release date of either October or November.
However, now it seems that sooner rather than later could be on the cards, and Android 4.0 could be with us next month. This is according to a couple of sources.
Computerworld pointed to Notion Ink’s blog, where the CEO made a comment about Ice Cream Sandwich arriving in October. He previously pinpointed the release of Gingerbread last year with unerring accuracy. READ THE FULL ARTICLE: TechWatch
