Google+ opens doors, Facebook introduces more changes

We’re sure it’s mere coincidence, of course, but Facebook has just implemented some more changes after Google+ has opened its doors to the public.
Google+, the search giant’s social network, officially went into open beta yesterday afternoon, so now anyone can sign up without an invite. There’s a doodle on the search home page this morning, too, to make sure no visitors miss this fact.
And even if Google+ has a huge mountain to climb in terms of catching up to Facebook’s 750 million plus users, Mark Zuckerberg isn’t taking the potential threat anything less than seriously. READ THE FULL ARTICLE: TechWatch
